Ken, Jay and I sat inside a franchised dive-bar 2 years ago hidden between the main Tokyo highway and nestled between carbon-copied office buildings drinking “grasshopper” for Jay, beer for Ken and rum-coke for myself. We three were exhausted hammering flash codes, php and illustrations for a mobile content providing company where we worked together. We loved what we did, but felt that it could go far beyond what we were told.

For personal reasons, I decided to move back to the United States while Jay and Ken stayed in Tokyo. I would still stay close to my friends Jay and Ken as we still shared the same dream. 2 years later, the dream came alive and we have finally launched our company, Mobile Design LLC. Though its headquarters is in Seattle, Washington, we travel working in both Japan and Seattle. This in turn, will keep us in-check with mobile trends as well as keeping our friendship.

Our mission is simple: To always side with the mobile user’s experience.

Cheers, welcome, Yorushiku Onegaishimasu!
