Mobile UX Design, or Mobile User eXperience Design, is a crucial designing step before the mobile production stage and long before the launching of mobile websites and mobile apps, but before IA (Interactive Architecture). Mobile UX Design is much like combining “psychology” + “biology” + “technology” and adding all aspects of variables that the user may experience physically and emotionally. Certainly, there are other theories out there nowadays, but when we started in 2003, nothing of the sort was clearly defined for mobile (PC yes, but not mobile).

Mobile UX Design came to light after companies having launched their mobile app/website and having spent thousands advertising their new mobile website/app; received thousands of complaints. Oh sure, companies may have successfully created software, OS’s and making millions… but that does not mean they understood the user. There are millions of other variables and scenarios that users experience while out in the environment and into the fast-paced world.
